Where to Find Your Apptivo API Key & Apptivo Access Key

The Question:

How do I acquire an API key & Access key to access an Apptivo WordPress Plugin, or to build my own Apptivo application? Do I need to purchase anything, and where do I find the key?

The Answer:

Apptivo offers access to their API for developers (developers API) & business users who want to integrated outside applications, such as websites, with their Apptivo system. This allows users to enhance the functionality of Apptivo, and customize it even further to be custom tailored for their business.

To obtain an API key, you must have a current subscription to one of these Apptivo plans:

1. Premium
2. Enterprise

If you wish to purchase an API integration key without an Apptivo plan, please contact us.
If you have a subscription to one of these plans, your API key is already generated for you. You can access your key with these simple steps:

1. Log in to Apptivo
2. You will be directed to Apptivo Home page. Click on the “User Name” drop down and select “Business Settings”.



3. Business settings page will be opened. Tap on “General -> API access” from the left navigation panel.
4. “API access” page will be opened. You can view the API key and access key.



These keys can be pasted directly into your WordPress plugin, or inserted into your API code. No activation is required.
