General Design & File Name
The print/web layout editor allows users to control the name of the PDF file, along with all text presented inside. Companies can label things as a quote, estimate, proposal, contract, or any of their preferred terminology that fits best.
This editor also allows the inclusion of standard cover pages, terms of use, or agreement details specific to one quote. Companies can manage one or many templates. Each template can include zero, one, or many signature widgets.

Print/Web Layout eSignature Widget
This is the key feature involved in enabling eSign. Inside of the standard print/web layout editor where we build PDF templates, there is a special attribute called “eSign”. This will create a single location for a signature to be captured and can be dragged and dropped anywhere within your template design.

eSignature History
Apptivo will display the history of when a signature was captured within each estimate. You can choose to hide this information, present it as a stand-alone tab, or a set of fields on the overview tab. This option is available in the settings in the “eSignature” section, and below you can see what each option looks like. All of this detail is automatically completed by integration immediately upon a signature being captured.

Credit Purchasing & Monitoring
Within the “Manage Your Account” page there is a dashboard that shows the currently available credits for the business and allows the purchasing of additional credits. In order to enable eSignature and start using credits, you’ll need to enable the eSignature service within this same area.

If your business uses other special Apptivo services, such as out IVR & voice services, all credits can be managed through the same dashboard. Here you can purchase additional credits with a credit card anytime, and run reports to see exactly how credits are used.
